St. Joseph's Convent High School CBSE - Chittaranjan today, December 16, visited the leprosy colony near Mihijam Kangoi Hills and distributed a large quantity of food among the resident families there. They also handed over notebooks, pens, chocolates etc. to 35 children there. On behalf of the school Management, Teachers & Some Students, 26 families of leprosy colony were given 8 kg of rice, 5 kg of flour, 2 kg of pulses, soap, biscuits, toothbrush, paste, brush, comb, etc. It is to be noted that every year this humanitarian initiative is taken by this school before Christmas in December. Following that, this year also St. Joseph's Convent High School CBSE department went to the leprosy colony and distributed food and notebook pens.
